Alien Skull Palmsized
Día de los Muertos, Day of the Dead
This alien skull with the bright third eye is about the size of a peach. Not quite finished as yet but interesting to show the progression of designs.
Sometimes little alien spirits force me to paint and repaint over and over before they say I have achieved a good design that suits them. It is not the criticism I mind, it is the method of communication. Thank me later, cats ARE alien spies, but cats do not appreciate obedience. When alien spirits insist the cat critics identify flaws in design the resentful beasts drag their tails through the paint to emphasize the degree to which they have capitulated.
These aliens remind me of renaissance paintings which when x-rayed were found to have layers of several paintings beneath the visual surface. These little nightmares of the ancient past might protect you from the invasion through solidarity, or on the other hand, it's possible aliens will see a threat and in that case you are toast. It's a 50/50 proposition.
Give your great, great, great to the Nth power times 4 squared a nod of remembrance. (I obviously have no grasp of math) This painted skull, ancient alien undoubtedly resembles a relative or two somewhere down the line.
Ancient alien theorists claim that visiting Alien astronauts traveled, mined the Earth for minerals thousands of years ago. UFOlogists surmise these aliens experimented and genetically produced we modern humanoids for fun and recreation. I've created some ancient alien skulls for star gazers and ufologists may pay respects to their space alien ancestors just in case they suddenly drop in for another visit.
